Final feedback

This is the final feedback we got from students in other classes.

GENRE
Alternative Punk? Well stylised as a graphic novel

RELATIONSHIPS
Don't understand the heart. Good guitar + lip syncing.

CAMERAWORK
Different shots. Blurry at one point, should be changed. Otherwise it's really good camerawork and the range of shots.

EDITING
Good lip syncing. Overall good editing some glitches though.

MISE-EN-SCENE
Costumes are accurate right sort of image for the genre, along with instruments. Bike is used to help with narrative.

SPECIAL EFFECTS
Within editing the effect of shrinking down images and overlapping shots looks good as it gives more to look at.

Comments and feedback from the Foxes!

Hey,

Yes, we've seen it - I think the chap in the video sent Alex a message. It's good! I like the split screen stuff you did, and it was good to mix the scenes of playing instruments with other scenes in the city. The only thing I'd say would improve it would be to have the drums a bit more in time with the song, and maybe have included a girl in the city scenes, i.e. as if he was talking directly to here in the song. Other than that, top marks!

So, what made you want to use our song for your video? And when are you all coming to see us play it for real?!!

Cheers,

Nigel.

cheers thats really helpful!!!

well we had a cd of choices...i had a basic idea...the moment i heard the song i thought it would work straight away! the variety of guitar and drums...works well with split screen!

yea the drummer who was playing wasnt playing along to the song...he kinda just decided to play his own beat!! but if we where to make it again...we include your points and make even better and maybe you cana star in it!!

next time your giging in london or cambs we 'll make an effort to come down and see you guys live!!

cheers for comments!! if you ever wanted us to make a music video im sure we could arrange something??

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Our next London gig's at Nambucca (near Archway and Holloway Road Tube) on 23rd November....after that we're supporting The Animals on 7th December.

As for making a music video....let's do it. We've been meaning to for ages but haven't ever got round to it. But we like what you did and would be happy to do it with you!

Nigel. X

this is obviously brillaint for us as a group and we are planning to work with the band to create a video for them and try and get it aired on as many music channels as possible!

Final Video feedback

General feedback from our classmates.

The split screen added interest as it was a good mix between intruments, off shots and singer
Our perform, performed well and did really well.
A good range of colours. to make certain intruments stand out against backgrounds. TO show that, characters in the video where different people, as it was one person acting in the video.
The angles and different types shots showed good imagination and creatiivity.
The split screen gave it a cool 60's film poster feel. Which makes it stand our compared to some of the other videos people had seen in our class.
